Amanda Jeannette Detmer (born April 15th in 1970) is an American actor. Her film debut came in 1999, playing Miss Minneapolis and had later an starring performance as Miss Minneapolis in Final Destination. Her early career in the 2000s included starring roles, such as Boys and Girls (2000), Saving Silverman, The Majestic, and Kiss the Bride. Detmer has also had roles as a lead in short-lived television series including A.U.S.A. 2003, and What about Brian 2007-2006). Amanda Holden is best known as the judge of Britain's Got Talent since the show was launched in 2007. The actress also portrayed Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart and in the role of the title in Thoroughly Modern Millie for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.
